On October 9, a training dedicated to behavioral therapy was organized by the specialist of the Psycho-Verbal Rehabilitation and Social Assistance section, Mihaela Rusu, who combined the theoretical part with applied exercises.
Behavioral therapy aims to develop functional and adaptive skills, learn appropriate behaviors and reduce behaviors that make it difficult for the child to participate in daily activities. It is used in interventions for children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays and other communication, learning and adaptation difficulties, depending on the individual needs of each child.
Specialists explored basic concepts, working strategies and ways of understanding and managing behaviours, emphasizing the practical application of knowledge in working with children.
Such activities support the exchange of experience, professional development and continuous improvement of interventions offered to children.
Together, we build interventions based on understanding, respect and the development of the child’s autonomy.
Everything for the health of our children!
