The importance of the International Classification of Functioning (ICF, ICF-CY, World Health Organization (WHO) is indisputable in the context of reduced functionality in children and adults.
The results of the study conducted at the Republican Center for Rehabilitation for Children were presented in the report “Comparative Study of Determining the Degree of Disability: ICD-10 and the WHODAS 2.0 Tool (Developed by WHO). “
A combination of these two tools is very important – highlighting the ability against the background of disability!
We would like to thank the participants in the study – families with special children and the beneficiaries of “Cherry Blossom” for their time.
Conclusions after the congress: evidence-based approaches in both clinical and public health management of people with functional and other limitations are taking root in Moldova, and our institution is the promoter of these approaches.
