As part of the activities carried out by the employees of the Methodological series, the presentation of the BASC-2 test (Behavior Assessment System for Children – Second Edition) took place, a complex instrument used for the behavioral and emotional assessment of children and adolescents.
The presentation addressed the main aspects regarding the purpose, structure and areas assessed by the BASC-2, as well as the importance of using this instrument in the process of identifying and understanding the behaviors, emotions and difficulties that children may face.
The components of the test, the method of administration and interpretation of the results, as well as the role of psychological assessment in shaping a complete perspective on the development and functioning of the child were also presented.
Such activities contribute to the continuous professional development of employees and to deepening knowledge regarding the correct diagnosis through standardized psychological assessments.
