On July 5, two specialists from the IMSP Republican Center for Rehabilitation for Children participated in the EBRAINS Symposium “Accelerating neuroscience research through European research infrastructures”.
This was possible thanks to the National Agency for Research and Development #ANCD to whom we extend our enormous gratitude, based on the implementation of Horizon EU projects by our institution.
Participation in the EBRAINS Symposium is aimed at familiarizing ourselves with the latest European neuroscience research tools, exchanging experience and developing international collaborations relevant to pediatric rehabilitation.
The goal – to consolidate knowledge about European neuroscience research infrastructures and identify opportunities for applying innovative technologies and tools in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. The event provided a framework for exchanging experience with European experts and establishing professional contacts in order to develop international collaborations.
The symposium presented examples of good practices by national centers participating in the EBRAINS infrastructure (Norway, Spain, Germany, Italy, France and the Netherlands), with a focus on brain atlases, computational modeling, imaging and neurotechnologies. . The program included networking sessions, practical demonstrations on the use of digital tools and workflows for neuroscience research.
Results obtained:
3 collaborations were established for application to EU projects, in the field of Epilepsy treatment, rehabilitation, ASD, as well as the identification of 2 project proposals from BRAIN HEALTH with Spain, France and EU Funding Bodies.
We are proud of our achievements and more and more EU projects are being implemented within the institution!
